Job DescriptionOutside Sales Associate Full-Time Position Position DescriptionAs an Outside Sales Professional, your primary responsibility will be new customer development. This includes making direct sales calls to the manufacturing industry and interacting in face-to-face operations to generate new business. You must be comfortable cold calling and interacting in this kind of environment and willing to invest the time it takes to develop new business. Our successful reps make 20-50 sales calls daily. They consistently grow business by having winning personalities, being self-motivated, confident, consistent, accountable and determined to be a successful sales professional. |
Position Requirements
The ideal candidate for this job will have 2 or more years of business-to-business outside sales experience in the fastener and hardware industry. As well as an advanced understanding of sales skills and techniques, communication, relationship building, customer service, prioritization, account forecasting / planning, negotiating, superior organizational and time management skills, ability to perform without direct supervision, and proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Office Excel, Outlook, etc.) is a must. Also experience in using an online CRM program such as Salesforce or Hatchbuck (or similar) is preferred.
