Coupling nuts are internally threaded and connect threaded rods, pipes and other threaded items. They are also known as extension nuts. Coupling nuts have the ability to connect different thread size rods or pipes and are constructed using a hex shape making it easy to tighten and loosen with a wrench. Coupling nuts are threaded right-handed and comes in low carbon steel, grade 5 steel, and 18-8 stainless steel (303 & 304 series). Available and ready-to-ship in a variety of sizes and coatings.
