Left-Hand Threaded Hex Nuts
A left-hand threaded hex nut is a six-sided internally threaded fastener whose thickness is .875D where D is the nominal nut size and 1.5D is their width across the flats, made from low carbon steel, and are double chamfered. Left-hand threaded nuts have opposite threads to standard nuts which are right-hand threaded and must be installed by turning them in a counterclockwise direction to tighten. Designed for use with left-handed threaded rods, bolts, or screws. Offered in a coarse thread and steel zinc. Available and ready-to-ship in a variety of sizes and coatings.
