Top Lock Nuts

A top lock nut is a lock nut with irregular shaped threads at the top of the nut, gripping the bolt for a stronger hold than a standard nylon-insert lock nut. They thread on from the bottom of the nut allowing more threads to engage the bolt before tightening for easier installation than a center lock nut. The strength of the bolt should match the strength of the nut to prevent damaging threads. Top lock nuts can be reusable depending on the application. Available and ready-to-ship in a variety of sizes, finishes coatings. Browse our selection of top lock nuts for your building projects and industrial applications.
