Acoustical eye lag screws are manufactured from carbon steel and offer a gimlet style point. Case hardened acoustical eye lag bolts are hardened to Rockwell C52-58 with a core hardness of C32-40. Eye lag bolts that are case hardened are stocked in zinc plating and offer a self-drilling type point. Full-bodied, trimmed hex lag screws are manufactured to ASME B18.2.1 dimensions and are recognized as the American National Standard. Trimmed hex lag bolts offer a tensile strength of 60,000 psi. minimum with a selection of materials and finishes such as 18-8 stainless steel, hot-dipped galvanized low carbon steel, low carbon steel in a black oxide finish, or low carbon steel with a zinc plating. Indented hex washer lag screws are available in low carbon steel with zinc plating and are stocked in a variety of styles. High profile- hex washer lag screws measure 7/16” across the flats for all sizes with the head height roughly .300-.312”. Regular hex washer lag bolts are carried in 1/4” A.F. and 5/16” A.F. with the option of a red painted head. 1/4” across the flats, hex washer lag bolts have a head height of .172-.190” and the 5/16” A.F. hex lag screws offer a head height of .200-.230”.
