PT® thread rolling screws offer metric sizes with a high thread profile and a recessed thread root that is manufactured to increase the thread engagement and minimalize the stress of the assembly, overall providing optimal performance for thermoplastic applications. The Plastite® 45 thread rolling screws offer metric and imperial sizes and are designed with a smaller root and major diameters when compared to the Plastite® 48 therefore making it perfect for use in smaller bosses.
Plastite® is designed to provide high resistance against stripping and loosening making them reliable in less-compressible plastics. The Taptite®-Alternative is manufactured to form internal threads into a plain hole upon initial instillation allowing you to save in cost while eliminating the need to pre-tap the nut member. Plas-Fix®45 and Plastite® Alternative Thread Rolling Screws
Alternative thread rolling screws in metric sizes are available offering a flat head six-lobe, Pan Pozi type Z or Pan six-lobe head and drive style combinations in steel zinc.
Plastite® Thread Rolling Screws
Alternative thread rolling screws offering imperial sizes are stocked in 82-degree flat head, 82-degree flat undercut, hex washer, serrated hex washer, oval head, oval undercut, pan head and truss head styles with a drive preference of phillips or six-lobe types. Materials include 300 and 400 series stainless steels and plain steel with plating selections of black oxide, clear zinc or black zinc finishes.
Taptite® Thread Rolling Screws
Alternative thread rolling screws are available in imperial sizing with a complex selection of choices to meet your manufacturing needs. Head types include 82-degree flat head, 82-degree flat undercut, 100-degree flat undercut, hex head, hex washer, serrated hex washer, oval head, oval undercut, pan head, Pozi, and truss head options. Drive styles to pair are available in phillips, six-lobe, slotted and unslotted selections for all materials such as 18-8 stainless steel, 410 stainless steel, and plain steel. Material finishes are offered in black oxide, black zinc, clear zinc, green zinc, yellow zinc and wax coatings.
