Sealants for Pipes and Fittings
Sealants for Pipes and Fittings are made in the USA and are available for medium-strength and high-strength applications. Our Instant Pipe Sealant with Teflon is a white resin that is a medium strength anaerobic. This thread sealant is designed to seal high pressure and pneumatic fittings. Instant pipe sealant is slow to cure, although provides an instant seal for tightened fittings and is easily disassembled. Stock and ready-to-ship in 50ml and 250ml sized bottles.
Our High Pressure Sealant is a brown resin with a viscosity rating of 300 – 500cp. This very high strength hydraulic sealant does not shrink, and has impressive resistance against vibrations and shock. The operating cure time for this thread sealant is 1 hour on steel. Available in 50ml sized bottles.
It is recommended to allow a 24 hour period for a full strength cure with all sealants for pipes and fittings.
