Cable Ties
A nylon cable tie is a flexible nylon fastener with evenly spaced serrations on one side of the tap section and a smooth opposite side. The head of the tie has an opening. A pawl within the head engages with the serrations to form a ratchet as the opposite end of the tape section is pulled through the head. The locking action prohibits the tie from loosening. Cable ties have an exceptionally wide variety of uses in electrical industries, cable management and wire bundling. The higher the tensile strength the greater the holding strength and the greater the insertion force required. Available and ready-to-ship in a variety of sizes. UV Black cable ties are recommended for outdoor use and designed for extended exposure to weather, and UV light. Can be used for indoor applications also. Made of nylon 6/6 with a temperature rating of -40 - 185 degrees Fahrenheit and a flammability rating of UL 94-V2.
Natural Nylon Cable
Natural cable ties are designed for indoor cable bundling. Natural ties are sometimes referred to clear zip ties or white cable ties. However, these cable ties are not transparent.
