Machine Screws

A nylon slotted pan head machine screw is an externally threaded fastener with a head that has slightly rounded sides, a flat top and a flat underside. Designed to be used with internally threaded nylon fasteners in applications that require corrosion resistance or electrical insulation. Nylon’s other advantages include resistance to grease and oils, a low coefficient or friction, and the ability to maintain its torque strength when exposed to a wide range of temperatures. Made with engineered nylon 6/6 material with a hardness that meets Rockwell M80. Thermal properties for nylon include a melting point of 500 degrees Fahrenheit and continuous use temperature of 185 degrees. Available and ready-to-ship in a variety of sizes.
